Meet the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award Finalists
We are thrilled to announce our 30 exceptional finalists for the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award, representing the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East regions.
In collaboration with the Impact Hub Network, our teams launched a widespread call for applications, receiving an overwhelming response of 2,276 submissions from 3 regions (Latin America, Africa & Middle East, Asia Pacific).
This surge in applications for the 2024 edition underscores the incredible desire among women-led enterprises to create tangible impacts within their communities and beyond. Diverse in their approaches, these finalists are tackling pressing issues in areas such as health, nutrition, and climate solutions. Mark your calendars!
We’ll be announcing the 15 winners in early May. These winners will embark on a transformative 6-month Accelerator Programme, supported by a €25,000 cash prize, personalized mentorship, and a sponsored trip to the award ceremony in Berlin on the first week of June. They will also gain access to extensive networks, including the Impact Hub Network.
